Eastbound U.S. Route 36 in Macon County will have a lane restriction Oct. 20 for bridge maintenance from Eagle Avenue to a quarter mile past the Chariton River near New Cambria, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The work is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to a MoDOT Northeast District release. One lane will be closed, and no detours are assigned, MoDOT Northeast District communications manager Andrea K. Campbell said Friday in an email.
Inclement weather may change the schedule, the release says. MoDOT also warned that other moving operations may be underway in the region.
