Maryville beat Truman State University 25-20, 27-25, 20-25, and 25-19 in volleyball Saturday at Moloney Arena.
Autumn Erickson, of Truman State, had 19 kills on .548 hitting, four aces, eight blocks, and 27.5 points. Laci Neece, of Truman State, had nine kills and 16 digs. Ella Diercks, of Truman State, had seven kills. Jessie Julius, of Truman State, had six kills and 14 digs. Tori Creason, of Truman State, had 46 assists, two aces, three blocks, and 10 digs. Addy Janssen, of Truman State, had 21 digs and three aces. Adalyn Galbraith, of Truman State, had five kills. Avery Poppe, of Truman State, had eight digs. Lily Porter, of Truman State, had two kills and three blocks.
Ellie Witthaus, of Maryville, had 13 kills on .444 hitting and 14.0 points. Natalie Frazier, of Maryville, had 13 kills. Joanna Gillen, of Maryville, had eight kills, two aces, and three blocks. Emma Keele, of Maryville, had eight kills and 12 digs. Ella Domian, of Maryville, had five kills and two blocks. Cami Kohmetscher, of Maryville, had 22 assists and 13 digs. Taylor Reynolds, of Maryville, had 21 assists, four aces, and 13 digs. Mallory Sell, of Maryville, had 17 digs and two aces. Leslie Longanbach, of Maryville, had four blocks.
Maryville hit .233 to Truman State's .222 and finished with 51 kills to 53, 11 aces to 10, eight blocks to 10, and 78 digs to 75. Truman State had 50 assists to Maryville's 49. Maryville won the second set 27-25 after Truman State led 24-20.
