A Bevier man was moderately injured Saturday morning when the car he was driving ran off U.S. 63 north of La Plata and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The crash happened at 8:45 a.m. about 2 miles north of La Plata in Adair County. The patrol listed the driver as a 73-year-old Bevier man in a northbound 2019 Nissan Sentra. The report says the vehicle crossed an intersection, traveled off the roadway, and overturned. A safety device was in use.
The Sentra had total damage. MU-4 took him to University Hospital in Columbia.
Trooper Wood of the patrol investigated. The Adair County Sheriff's Office, Adair County Ambulance, the Kirksville Fire Department, and Macon County Rural Fire assisted, according to the report.
